Mandolin Lessons
Called a “national class mandolin and fiddle player” by the Portland Oregonian, Pete Martin plays fiddle, mandolin, guitar and tenor guitar, and has performed and recorded with many Northwest artists.

Pete has placed well in many national and regional instrumental competitions. In 1983, he placed in the top 5 at the Walnut Valley Mandolin Contest in Winfield, Kansas. In 1994, he was National Adult Fiddle Champion at Weiser, Idaho. In addition, he has judged the National Fiddle Contest three times.

Pete was a regular columnist for Mandolin Magazine and has authored 12 instructional books on mandolin and fiddle playing.

Pete teaches mandolin, fiddle and tenor guitar to students of all ages in the greater Seattle area, and around the country via webcam lessons.

Tom Moran has been active as a mandolinist and teacher in the Seattle area for more than 40 years. He founded the current Seattle Mandolin Orchestra in 1980. Tom was a columnist for Mandolin Magazine and currently plays bluegrass with the DownTown Mountain Boys.

Sue Lesser is a longtime member of the Seattle Mandolin Orchestra and former president of the Classical Mandolin Society of America. She has taught mandolin to students of all ages.
